It’s Hard to Believe…

That two years ago Emily and I made the jump into owning a gym. Those two years have been full of great workouts, strong friendships, and many life changes.

That’s why it is so hard to let the gym go.

We are proud of all we accomplished in our building on Hwy 24, but we haven’t been able to find a new spot or co-owner since being evicted. With other life changes, we’ve made the tough decision to call it quits.

January Will Be Our Last Month

There’s a lot of ways I could write out this email, and so many things I want to say to each one of you. The most important thing is thank you for supporting us. No matter what capacity that was over the years.

Our current plan is to stay full speed to end out January. I look forward to working out with you until the final day. In February there will be no scheduled or officially coached classes, but equipment will remain for a while as I work out storage. During February I’ll continue to update SugarWod with workouts until the equipment is either moved or sold. So, you can still come together and workout for some of February.

A portion of the equipment will be listed to our current members at starting price & auction format. After that we will let previous members know that items are available and then eventually list online. We hope this is fair while allowing us to recoup some money. If you have any comments or suggestions, speak up now!

If you want something for free, I do have some stuff…specifically 200 shirt prints in 12 or so designs. I’ll print on anything for no additional cost.

It’s crushing to see our community split up. We have already heard ideas to stick together. If there is a common place to post please let me know. I can do emails like this with events, or set up a Facebook group.

If you join a gym, let everyone know. I’ll get a punch card there and drop in with you.
